This wild growing bush in South Africa was discovered during World War II
as troops were not getting supplies they began to cut down bushes to make tea . It turns out the Rooibos bush contains many vitamins and minerals and no caffeine , therefore is considered a health drink.
For best results simmer it in the pot for 5 to 10 minutes.
Decaffeinated Tea
This is our selection of decaf teas ( teas without caffeine ) with exception to
herbal teas , which. are listed on another page. There are two ways caffeine
is removed from tea - first is chemical that involves use of harsh chemicals ,
second is a water process in which tea is steamed and no chemicals are used .
We favor the steaming process as it is environment friendly and and there
is no chemical residue in the tea.

There is a way to have your favorite cup of tea with less caffeine. Steep tea for approx.15 seconds , then dispose of the tea or serve it to someone in need of caffeine . Then using the same tea leaves make another cup of tea which will contain much less caffeine since most of it was dissolved in the first cup of tea , Most of the caffeine dissolves in 30 seconds .
